ANNIVERSARY OF THE CHURCH

Johns Chapel AME Church will celebrate its 133rd church anniversary on Sunday, May 15 at 10:45 a.m. Johns Chapel has been an integral part of the close-knit town of Enterprise since its inception in 1889. The guest preacher for this historic event will be Bishop Harry L. Seawright, presiding prelate of the 9th Episcopal District of the AME Church in the state of Alabama. He is the 133rd elected and consecrated bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The theme is “Celebrating a Legacy of Living, Loving and Serving Together in Unity”, taken from Psalms 133:1. AGLOW MEETING

Aglow International’s next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 21 at 10 a.m. in The Gathering Room at Enterprise. The guest speaker will be Jacqueline Battle from Montgomery. For more information, call (334) 406-9683.

HOLIDAY BIBLE SCHOOL

First Baptist Church Level Plains will kick off the summer June 12-16, 5-8 p.m., with the Vacation Bible School called Monumental/Celebrating God’s Greatness.

COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY

The Enterprise Women’s Day Class of Community Bible Study will meet Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon through May 9 in the First Baptist Church chapel in Enterprise. The current study is on the Book of Revelation. For those unable to meet in person, a dedicated online core group will be offered. SUPPORT GROUP FOR FOSTER PARENTS

A Foster Parent Support Group meets the first Tuesday of each month at Hillcrest Baptist Church in the Fellowship Room from 6-8 p.m. Email [email protected] for more information or to register for childcare.

MILITARY SUPPORT GROUP

The Enterprise Military Support Group meets Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. at the Boll Weevil Circle Church located at 2017 Boll Weevil Circle, Enterprise. Anyone who needs to talk about difficult experiences and needs an understanding friend is invited. Please call (334) 894-6411 for more information.

SHARING THE GRIEF

GriefShare is taking a break for the summer. The next meeting will be on August 8.

PARENTS OF ADDICTIVE RELATIVES

A free educational support group for parents and families of drug-addicted loved ones will be held each Tuesday at Hillcrest Baptist Church from 6:30-8 p.m. Parking on Watts St., in room D108 (look for the sign). For more information, call (334) 379-9118. Participants must be 18 years or older.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery meets every Tuesday evening at Enterprise First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. It is a Christ-centered recovery group for any problem. We now offer a meal at 5:45 p.m. The Debarcadère for teens will be offered as well as Celebration Place for kindergarten to grade 6. A fast check-in process for all ages is carried out by hostesses at the entrance to Fellowship Hall. Social distancing will be practiced and wearing a mask when moving around the room is encouraged. A large group meeting will start at 6:25 p.m. and small groups will start around 7:30 p.m. Call Denver at (334) 389-3584 to schedule a child care worker for children under five or for more information.

CEMETERY MAINTENANCE
