J&K reports 146 new Covid cases
SRINAGAR, JULY 09: Government today informed that 146 new positive cases of Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 90 from Jammu division and 56 from Kashmir division bringing the total number of positive cases to 455953. Additionally, 01 COVID deaths have been reported in Jammu division.
Additionally, another 83 COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals, including 59 from Jammu Division and 24 from Kashmir Division.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin advises that 5,898 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the past 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,33,90,534.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on the new Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 455,953 positive cases, 754 are active positive (470 in Jammu division and 284 in Kashmir division), 450,441 have recovered and 4,758 have died ; 2333 in Jammu Division and 2425 in Kashmir Division.
The Bulletin further states that out of 25,864,380 test results available, 455,953 samples tested positive and 2,5408,427 samples tested negative till date. Additionally, 11,519 COVID tests have been performed in the past 24 hours.
To date, 6,596,259 people have been signed up for observation, including 258 people in home quarantine, including government-run facilities, 754 in isolation and 351 in home monitoring. In addition, 6,590,138 people have completed their monitoring period.
Providing a breakdown by district for positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that Jammu reported 67 cases, Srinagar reported 45 cases, Udhampur reported 09 cases, Ganderbal, Poonch and Budgam reported 04 cases each, Kathua and Baramulla reported 02 cases each, Samba reported 06 cases, Rajouri, Doda and Shopian reported 01 cases each while no other districts in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir reported new cases.
The bulletin informs that in case of help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralized Health Helpline – Toll Free No. 104. In case of emergency, people can get free 24×7 ambulance services by calling the toll free toll-free 108 while pregnant women and sick infants can avail of free services by dialing the toll-free number 102, the bulletin said.
He also advises that the public can reach the national helpline by dialing 1075.
