J&K reports 692 new positive cases
SRINAGAR, JULY 27: Government today informed that 692 new positive cases of Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) have been reported today; 261 from Jammu division and 432 from Kashmir division thus bringing the total number of positive cases to 461947. Also, 02 COVID deaths were reported; 01 from Jammu Division and 01 from Kashmir Division.
Additionally, another 432 COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals, including 223 from Jammu Division and 209 from Kashmir Division.
According to the Media Bulletin daily on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 461947 positive cases, 4074 are active positive (1923 in Jammu division and 2151 in Kashmir division), 453108 recovered and 4765 died; 2338 in Jammu Division and 2427 in Kashmir Division.
The Bulletin further states that out of 26071802 test results available, 461947 samples tested positive and 25609855 samples tested negative till date. Additionally, 16,187 COVID tests have been performed in the past 24 hours.
To date, 6,695,895 people have been signed up for observation, including 110 people in home quarantine, including government-run facilities, 4,074 in isolation and 259 in home monitoring. In addition, 6,686,687 people completed their monitoring period.
Providing a district breakdown of positive cases for today, the Bulletin informs that Jammu reported 167 cases, Srinagar reported 230 cases, Udhampur and Kupwara reported 10 cases each, Baramulla reported 99 cases, Samba reported 14 cases, Kathua reported 03 cases, Bandipora reported 15 cases, Doda, Ramban and Kishtwar reported 13 cases each, Pulwama reported 01 cases, Budgam reported 23 cases, Anantnag reported 22 cases, Poonch reported 07 cases, Kulgam reported 04 cases, Ganderbal reported 27 cases and Rajouri reported 21 cases while no other districts reported new cases. case for today.
The bulletin informs that in case of help, the general public can call J&K UT Centralized Health Helpline – Toll Free No. 104. In case of emergency, people can get free 24×7 ambulance services by calling the toll free toll-free 108 while pregnant women and sick infants can avail of free services by dialing the toll-free number 102, the bulletin said.
