Kelsey Merritt returns to PH – Manila Bulletin

Filipino-American model Kelsey Merritt is coming home.

She confirmed the news herself by posting it on Instagram.

“So excited because I booked my flight back to the Philippines in a few weeks !! I’m coming home, ”she captioned a photo of herself on Boracay Island.

Recall that Kelsey has been living abroad for some time now after her historic stint at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2018.

Note that the then 22-year-old model is considered Victoria’s Secret’s very first Filipino Angel.

Anyway, after this milestone, Kelsey was featured by Vogue in their “Beauty Secrets” series, joining Rihanna, Victoria Beckham, Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr, Candice Swanepoel, Ashley Graham and Kendall Jenner.

Earlier this year, the first Filipina to appear on Sports Illustrated Swimsuit made an appearance in the same magazine and for the third time.

Kelsey, who was born and raised in Pampanga, started her modeling career at age 15.

Then, at age 17, Kelsey received an email from a New York-based modeling agency.

And the rest is history.
