Youth conference begins Friday

GREENFIELD – “Revive, Restore, Renew,” the National Youth Conference of the United Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, is scheduled for Friday, March 12 at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 1202 E. Fifth St., Greenfield.

This year’s featured speaker is Lia Matthews.

Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and 4 p.m. on March 12. Breakout sessions will take place at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on March 12.

Upcoming “Pain to Purpose” seminar

FORTVILLE — “Pain to Purpose” is a free two-hour workshop offered at 6 p.m. Monday at Mercy Road Church Northeast, 611 Vitality Drive, Fortville. Organizers say the seminar/workshop is where people begin to introduce “practical steps to navigating your valley in a wholesome, God-honoring way.”

Davey Blackburn leads the seminar. Tragedy struck his life when his pregnant wife of seven years, Amanda, was murdered during a home invasion.

Breakfast for the benefit of the missions

EDEN – Eden United Methodist Church will serve breakfast from 7am to 10am today at the church, 2122 Eden Road, Greenfield. Donations will be accepted to support local and global mission work.

Next lunch is March 9

WILKINSON – “Russ’s Table” will next meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on March 9. It’s a free lunch with friends of all ages. The gathering takes place on the second Wednesday of each month at Wilkinson Church of Christ.

Bereavement group meets in McCordsville

McCORDSVILLE – The Circle of Compassion Bereavement Support Group will next meet at 7 p.m. on March 17 at McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway, McCordsville.

The group meets in the adult classroom at the end of the hall by the back door. No registration is required, organizers say; come as you are, when you want. This group is currently facilitated by John Myrland.

Wrestling event scheduled for March 12 at Mercy Road

FORTVILLE — Wrestling Theology Fellowship presents “The Best” at 5 p.m. on March 12 at Mercy Road Church Northeast, 611 Vitality Drive, Fortville. Doors open at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for general admission, $10 for children, and $15 for a front row seat. There are also four-person ticket and pizza packages.
